Urine Therapy Mechanism
For most people, urine is perceived as something unclean that smells bad. Urine is not simply water ingested that is discharged from the digestive system. Urine is part of our blood.
Kidneys act to separate urine from blood through a filtering process. The urine that has been purified this way is sterile. Up to over 85% of urine is reabsorbed back into the bloodstream. After the processes of filtering and reabsorption are repeated a few times, the excess is discharged via the urinary bladder at the end. Urine is filtered blood constituents.
Many have heard of water memory. Urine is 95% water. The remaining 5% are active ingredients, the majority of which is urea, but it is known that other constituents include insulin, multiple hormones, enzymes, and several thousand kinds of bio-active substances.
The urine contains complete information about an individual’s body. It is specific to that individual and the contents could change with time for that same body. That is why it is important to ingest your own urine and not someone else’s.
Urine therapy is based on practical experiences of many practitioners and countless actual cases. For whatever reason, the medical establishment has not pursued active research on the effects of urine so it is not known why it exhibits beneficial effects or very little information exists on how the mechanism works from a scientific basis. At present, it is known that in the throat area, there is an organ that analyzes information that is triggered as urine passes through. Based on the organ’s assessment, the results are passed on to the hypothalamus and via the cerebrum, stimulates natural healing ability like a switch. You actively engage your body’s ability to adjust by ingesting urine, and repeatedly transmitting information about your body in a feedback loop.
The active ingredients contained in urine, was originally in the bloodstream. These ingredients were there to kill any bacteria, heal any damage or maintain balance of the body’s workings. By reabsorbing these substances, it is expected to reinforce their healing effects. It is certainly possible that the urine excreted from the bladder might contain minute amount of toxins, bacteria or virus. By re-ingesting some of these substances, it is thought to aid in transmitting information about the state of illness to the rest of the body, stimulate the immune system to respond and move towards trying to correct any detrimental situation.
It is also known that ingesting urine has an effect on your mental state, not just your body. It helps with depression and has some benefit for mental health patients. Some yoga practitioners say that it enhances the meditative state. Because of its balancing effect, it nudges people toward their ideal body weight if they are under or overweight.
It is not widely known that a fetus in the mother’s body develops as it ingests its own urine. A fetus urinates in the mother’s womb. That urine is one of the most important substances in the amniotic fluid. Continued ingestion of urine by the fetus is how the amount of amniotic fluid is maintained at a steady level. Poor urine excretion or absorption of urine by the fetus can lead to deformities or affect the mother’s health. Fetuses of mammals grow while ingesting and being immersed in their own urine. With this fact in mind, how can urine be that harmful to one’s body?
